Day 87: Shu'fat Refugee Camp, home to more than 22,000 Palestinian refugees holding a Jerusalem identity card, extends over 203 dunums of the Shuafat neighborhood and is run by the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). The camp is isolated from Jerusalem by the separation wall and is fully controlled by the Israelis. Check out the differences in services given by the Municipality of Jerusalem for Shuafat Refugee Camp and Pizgat Ze'ev Settlement that pay the same amount of taxes! Ashira heads to the drug hot spot where Palestinian youth are taking drugs under the supervision and protection of the Israeli army on the checkpoint. Check out the needles that were used by the drug addicts! Listen to why as long as it's Palestinians who are taking drugs Israeli forces will not interfere! Why was Khaled arrested in 1985? Who is behind drugs in Shuafat Refugee Camp and who is the supplier? Listen to the kids who used to be drug addicts tell their stories. Join Jihad Abu Znaid and Ashira at the Rehabilitation Center in the Refugee Camp and learn about the phases that a drug addict goes through there. Why did Al Toori Ahmad and Israeli citizens go to Shuafat rehabilitation Center after going to four other rehabilitation centers in Israel? What made him take the decision to stop? Who used to encourage the drug addicts to take drugs? Listen to how one of the Palestinian drug addicts was treated when he got arrested as a kid for throwing stones at Israeli soldiers? Where was he put? Why are the political prisoners and criminals put in the same cell? Why is cancer so common amongst the children of the camp? In Gaza go on location in Beit Hanoun to see what Israel's airstrikes yesterday destroyed on the ground. Meet pharmacy owner Dr. Mohammad Al Shanti who tells what happened after midnight. Area resident Soud Hamad thought his home was going to fall apart. His wife and son were injured, his car destroyed and store damaged. Um Hamad, his lightly injured wife, recounts what happened yesterday. Head with Eman to Beit Hanoun hospital where Dr. Rabee Hamdiya gives us a report on the 15 injuries.

  • @Benzinger560SECZionism and judaism are two different things. don't be ignorant and fight hate with hate.

  • FUCKING ISRAEL! FUCK DIE JUDEN!!!

    YOU WILL DIE!!!

  • Israel has been using this strategy since the 80's if not before, get the young Palestinians trapped in drugs so they won't resist .. the drug dealers work with the Israeli government which supports them and gives them protection, if a drug dealer that is working in a Palestinian area dares to come close to an Israeli settlement he will disappear of the face of earth

  • The metric donum is 1000 square meters (0.247 acres).

The center is doing a great job in this refugee camp but I think it should also fight nicotine which is also a drug and it causes many types of cancer. It is very bad because it is now affordable and available even to children. Tobacco may also ruin the lives of people who smoke it.
