You picked a spectacular song as tribute for M.B. On ballads his tone takes on great warmth that is missed on breakneck tempos (witness the haunting ballad "Heather" from B. Cobham's "Crosswinds" album). Thanks, you could not have done a better job on this video paean to a defining master of tenor sax.

Indubbiamente essere musicisti è un privilegio, ma per fortuna, anche chi non ne gode, può riconoscersi, se soltanto lo desidera, in ciò che per molti anni di assoluta ispirazione, sublime virtuosismo, e tangibile sensibilità musicale sei riuscito a donarci.
Anni che sanno già di incolmabile nostalgia.
