1980 Cadillac Coupe Deville ( read description for details)

This was at this guys house in front of his driveway, on 11/29/09 at 6pm.*Tell me your opinions* It is a 1980 Coupe DeVille, Equipped with a 6.0 liter 368 4-BBL Carb. Big Block V8.It shares the same block as the 425 of previous years.

It arrived the following year, in 1981 with the same 368, but now as a "Variable fuel injected (V8-6-4)" version. This gave Cadillac a bad reputation, and then murdered themselves further by later introducing the 4.1 liter in 1982.

The 368 itself, WITHOUT the "Variable Fuel Injected V8-6-4 " is a very reliable and solid motor. The 368 4BBL such as the one in this video was installed in the "Z" code commercial chassis until 1984. And proved to be a long lasting durable engine by providing 100's of thousands of miles of reliable service.

Exterior is Silver and a Beautiful Burgundy Leather Interior. Paint Condition is an easy 7 to an 8 outta 10. It does need Polish/Wax. No major Body Damage. All new Matching tires and original Cadillac Wire wheels.

The Front Grille is unique as it is only seen two times in all of Cadillacs history! First on the 1980 Coupe DeVille & "inspired by the Rolls-Royce and its Grille styling" and would not be seen again until the second time at the Debut of the 1990-1992 Brougham....Its Final Run, marking the end of THEE Big Body Cadillacs!

@ppaattrriissee, well you got to have an eye for things like this. And i am not the one that designed this front Grile....It is GM/Cadillac that said "It was inspired by the Rolls Royce Grille" and it is a fact thaty it was only used TWICE in all of Cadillac history. I myself never said that it was Special or that it looked just like a Rolls royce Grill. But i can sure see how THEY say it is a result of being inspired by rolls royce. What ever the case may be...it sure looks nice. -BOGAR!

Well, first off I wish the video was not at night, but it is a good-looking car given the age. But whats up with the battery, the doors were open, but the interior lights was not on. But from what I could see, you would only need to paint the quarter panels in the front and back. But other than that she is a beauty. I own a 78 coupe deville with the 425.

I realize I'm late on the response, however the 4100 engine in the Coupe Deville is garbage. Also, when looking at older classics, always ask and make sure the frame hasn't been cut for hydraulics in the past... And something I always do, is to make sure a mechanic gives it a pre-buy inspection (and a body man, with classics).
