Seeing this makes me kind of sad. I really miss Boblo a lot. The park was great and the boatride was a blast!
I had some great times with my folks and grandparents in those days on Boblo.

When I was a kid, my dad always said he liked the boat ride to Boblo better than any of the rides there. I thought that was the stupidest thing a person could say, and made no sense whatsoever. I'm 35 now and I remember the boat ride more clearly and with more fondness than anything else about it.
It's funny when your old man turns out to be right.

I remember going here back when I was 3yrs old...back in 87'.....It was my first trip to an amusement park...I so wish it was still here. I would have loved to go there as an adult. But still great memories

I remember this commercial and the Falling Star ride in it. This was before they got the Simpsons as mascots. I miss Boblo.

The Falling Star was my favorite! Its still at the Michigan Adventure park!

If you like that one you should hear the bob marley song they turned into a boblo jingle. Too bad I only heard that one ONCE on the radio back in the 80's. If anyone has it let me know, I want a copy!
