  • asus is working on a dual fermi card the mars 2. wonder how the heat and power will be. if anyone can keep it cool its asus. this card alone takes 8+8+6 pins! so i guess the mars2 will take a direct connect a an electrical socket lol hope it comes in 110 and 220 lol

    just wow asus wow lol

  • When I see something like this I immediately think how stupid it will look in 10 years. "I paid 1000 dollars for what!"

  • ok, for $1200 it better play holograms and dreams

  • @Goingpostal1000 well considering it's gonna last 10 years LOL you look at it as $100 a year thats not bad.

    Actually I bought a 5870 and I run every game at 1920 x 1080 on my 60 Inch TV

No aa 16x aniso and everything full graphics no shadows.

It looks oustanding and runs smooth and fast.

Best Graphic card for $250 bucks from Gigabyte.

I am extreamly please and look towards keeping it for about 2 years before and upgrade.

I believe in getting the 5970 off Ebay next.

  • i can do a small build for the cost of this

  • @mvez10

Lol, Asus did a fantastic job of keeping it cool :P

  • It would seriously cost less if the didn't bundle all this unnecessary equipment. I mean its not that its bad but most people don't need a suitcase or a mouse if they are already planning to buy this GPU. I'm starting to think that ASUS is trying to amp up the price. It could cost $1000 or less if it was just the card.

  • dear santa..

  • @MiSNemesis Don't, mine burnt out in a week and the warranty didn't cover it.

  • buying one is ok, its the installation i'm afraid i mess up esp when i hear scary things like "molex" and "PCIe" :s

  • is there a nvida card packed this was that is not asus?
