  • I just bought this model camera "K10d".I see no way this guy is shooting quality photos this camera is horrible in low light conditions.Photo quality during the day or of great quality but not a performing for low-light shooting.I guess it doesn't matter for bar or clubs whereby the guest are drunk anyway.....

  • @5starbrand Why not? It's been several months since I wrote that, but I still stand behind it. A true professional is always learning. A photographer who thinks he knows it all already is not who I would hire. The video is quite well done and informative. If you don't think so, then make your own! Silly.

  • @scotman55 Experienced photographers wouldn't be watching this and getting tips now would they?

  • @TwistedTim01 how does fisheye works for you?I am considering buying one or stack some extra bucks and go for a zoom super wide angle like Sigma 10-20mm

  • I use a fisheye too, its awkward however... sue to the wide angle of the lens people are weiry that i'm photographing their chest.

My 7D has this, however its not true wireless, requiring line of sight between the on camera pop up flash and the external flash. Somehow it transfers flash settings, which are set on the camera wirelessly (whether thats IR or RF i dont know) but to trigger the flash, my EX430II needs to see the pop up flash fire. Dont worry though because that flash goes before the shutter, so doesnt get in the frame.

Either way its not true wireless. Maybe its the same with this camera?

  • @5starbrand He's not "forgetting" anything. He is assuming he is talking to experienced photographers. What you're saying is a given.

  • do you reckon my 20mm 2.8 can do the job with my 430EX Flash unit?

  • how do you insure that your equipment doesnt get broken or stolen by some drunken idiot?

  • @bpoomer

Yeah I meant doesn't create softness using a stofen but diffuses the light - meaning it still remains hard light but goes everywhere. Some people errantly think that using a Stofen somehow softens the harshness of direct flash which it doesn't. Softness is as you say, size of the light and distance to subject.
