  • love persson's style! he is a legend....and from todays players, i guess id choose Jun as one with much grace in his style

  • 10 years ago:

Mizutani: I want to play like Persson when I´m older!

    now:

    I beat Persson !

  • It's not illegal to make a shot from beside the table, just so long as you don't touch the table. Mizutani makes a visible effort to avoid the table while the ball is still in play, and he only touches the table after the ball is gone. Lazy, but not illegal.

  • wang liqin looks unhappy hahha

  • @otterboxiphone

he knew that he got no chance to reach the ball so he held his bat over the table to block the ball directly from the table, and if persson shoot exactly on the bat than he also gets the point, so it doesn´t that this was a senceless action. and i think mizutani is not so stupid to make sth real illegal when he is 3 points in front. sry for bad english

  • wtf is that jap doing at 1:00? stupid. that's illegal.

  • for the Asia side? At this 2 years, Mizutani improved a lot (he was at 10th world ranking on the end of 2009). On firs set Mizutani attacked more and taked his advantage on FH topsin on the backside of Persson. On the second set they changed the role, Persson attacked much more and by this winned on 11-9. This next point was the mos amazing of the role game, both players were seeking oportunity for attacking. The following 2 sets was similar to the others, each one had chance for attacking.

  • translation: this match was a result of a drawing, since Asia x Europe was deuce. It was a 21 years vs 44 years old player match, Mizutani had the youth and vigour on his side, on the other way Persson had experience. Who would take advantage? Well, it will depend on who`s gonna make the other passive, who`s gonna take initiative first. Mizutani at 2007 was upon the 100th of the world, who would imagine that he would be the most important player on 2010 Europe x Asia, by taking 2 important pts

  • Thanks

  • I've been searching for this...thanks!
