But car deservs credit for her win as she played a great match, if only it would have happened later on in the tournament!!!even though it's a exo neither player really want to lose to each other.judging by this match you wouldn't have thaught maria would lose early in the AO :(

Sharapova would have a great 2010 year if she had kept this up. What a dissapointment, really. She spent this whole year struggling, when she didn't have to. She could still win another grand slam title, or two, but it's going to take a heck of hard work and commitment to the game to make that happen.

@JujuFan123 i think the start of this year really gave her the kick up the butt that she needed and i thinkshe'll be a lot more weary of the start of 2011 and that's why i think she's been training harder than ever this off season
