@fuckingkidsthesedays The engine was pulled from a wrecked vette. It had already been broken in. I should have broken the everything else in, but I wanted to see what it would do. I was impatient

@raginroadrunner it just comes down to personal taste man. The push rod is just as outdated as the dohc. I prefer gas over diesal because of american classics. Its what you prefer.

@gotenks137690 For all practical reasons...yes...European engines are going to be all diesel in the near future..look what Auto Union (Audi) has done with them in racing..the US lags behind in this technology for various reasons...your own GM sold Detroit Diesel to Roger Penske, who in turn sold it Daimler-Benz ( Freightliner)..and they surged ahead again...gasoline is obsolete, why do you think Henry Ford offered the Model T to burn gasoline or alcohol in 1909???
