  • I can't believe this video has dislikes. She exemplified the bel canto style the way it should be done. What a clean, effortless voice! I'll be looking for your name!

  • I saw her debut last December as Queen of the Night at the Met :) I was 15 when I sang in the chorus at Hawaii Opera Theatre when she performed as Blonde in "Abduction from the Seraglio" it was awesome!

  • She's very good. Her timbre doesn't sound extremely special to my ears, but she uses it with better taste, steadier technique and more musicality than most coloratura singers of our days. I like that she has an agile voice and a dramatic presence but doesn't try either to turn this Mad Scene into a showpiece of mere fireworks, either to make an over the top, excessive interpretation. She maintains the difficult and essential equilibrium between music and drama and sings with solid sweet tone.

  • Saw her in "The Barber of Seville" in Memphis, Tennessee.

    Brava!!

  • I was at the Opera Naple's performance of "Lucia" in January and Ms Luna's performance was outstanding. The whole production was wonderful!

  • Ms. Luna's performance at Opera Naples of this mad scene was spectacular. She can sing and act, too. The world is fortunate to have such a talent and I look forward to her future performances.

  • Wow! I can't wait to work with you on this in Naples. Your conductor, Franz Vote and I have both been really pleased to find this on YouTube, and it is a great way to get to know you, even before we meet!

  • this is clearly a dramatic voice and i like how she manages to sing so high yet keeping the dramatic warmth and it sound very easy!!!!!... this is the kind of voice with the potential of a very impressive lady macbeth or turandot in the far future at the end of her career!!

  • Fantastic acting, and spectacular singing! Your technique far exceeds most sopranos singing today, whom I shall not name out of professional courtesy! =D

And, I just clicked on this video after listening to Tebaldi singing Pace, Pace, so you had tough competition in my auditory memory.

Keep up the wonderful work, congratulations on your MET debut, and break a leg! Maybe I'll sing with you out there one day! ;D
