I did that, and everything is going well! And on the last day of the week, you do a revision of all. And at the end of the month, another revision! :)

Did learning japanese at first seem very scary to you? I'm trying to teach myself japanese and I'm still only on Hiragana and Katakana. Kanji seems very... intimidating in that you need to learn atleast 1000-1625 symbols in order to read a book/newspaper.
Another question is, is learning Japanese in a year and a half doable for someone who has always had trouble with languages? I'm really determied, but it just seems so scary..

hi i have a question, recently i started to try to learn japanese alone, and start browsing about anyone who has any information about how to start learning, what i notice is that almost everybody who learned by themselves thinks that the traditional way to learn a language its just to slow, and there is better methods, i wonder if for me where its important being able to read, hear and talk what method should i use, i really dont care for writing at least for now, do you have any sugestions.

ok so I did have the right idea...I was planing on learning in Hiragana and Katakana before even attempting Kanji...good video and thanks for it. However come to think of it, them combining symbols is just like what they do in German. Some of German's words are just combinations of other words..for example the word for Hypocrite is a combination of the words for "Appear" and "Holy." Suicide is literally "self" and "Murder" So it would seem that both are not as hard as they appear..good to know.

Nice view!
Really good, Richard. Appreciate the work you do. One question, do you program your own games or commision somebody to make them for you?

@tomtucjr Been doing them myself but I am thinking of hiring them out to get more done in the same time!

I am not sure if this is within your knowledge (for it might differ quite for each one), but do you know if Japanese games are written in Kanji, Katakana, or Hiragana? Is it a mixture of all of them?

@TPFInferno It's usually a mixture of all of them, but... some of the ones aimed at young kids have hiragana instead of the kanji for the kanji that the kids haven't learnt at school yet!
