i don't understand why youtube had to take it down it's not even the original it's a guitar cover....

@hutgreen Just re-upload it mate. You were just unlucky that they picked up on this one. Chances are that if you re-upload it they won't do it again. I really wanna hear it!! @Darkalaz I don't know why YT have removed the audio to my video while allowing access to hundreds of other similar uploads. I understand that the copyright holder has the right to request its removal but I feel that YT should at least be consistent in its policy. The video contains no audio from the original recording.

@hutgreen did YT give you any clearly reasons for removing the audio to your vid? There are thounsends of other vids on YT with a backingtrack wich ich very simular to the original or even is the original backing... so there has to be a reason for this.... very confusing xD

@DemonsGallore This is the statement they gave me - "All content owners have reviewed your video and confirmed their claims to some or all of its content: Entity: Warner Chappell Content Type: Musical Composition. As a result, the audio track of your video is muted."
Of course, what they neglected to mention was that in spite of this, they still feel it is reasonable to allow hundreds of videos on YT to use audio from the original recording to be viewed by millions of people :)
