Classic Game Room HD reviews BASKETBALL for Atari 2600 from 1978. Basketball is a one on one game where players face each other in a battle to the death.. I mean a battle to the highest score!! Shoot the block at the line and hope for the best, it's basketball! This ancient basketball game shows how far basketball video games have come. Atari Basketball is fun when playing against a friend but suffers from a sloppy computer opponent who cheats and has bad breath. Black on a color television (preferably with wood grain) or black and white, Basketball is simple and easy to play. @SethGreenMachine2010 Cool. I've grew up playing Boxing for the 2600, and even though I played on my Gamecube a lot I still liked to bring out the ol' Atari for a quick bout. Now I own my own system and easily over 100 games. What I hate is when people get on here and say "kids thees days r so dum dont no nuthing lik 8 trak and atari". Well, some of us do, and a lot of us can spell better than you.

Gameplay on the Atari looks more intense than the gameplay on the PS3 & Xbox 360.
