Hailey's P.O.V
People change and promises are broken, I'm sitting here, in the coffee shop across from the place dad is winning his award.
I got a bit behind because paparazzi wanted photos, and when I got to the people with the list, my name was already ticked off.
So I'm sitting here, waiting for somebody to notice that I'm missing, it's been an hour, nothing yet.
waitress- if you're not going to buy anything, you need to get out.
The old lady said to me.
I looked back over to where paparazzi were watching, If I got up to leave, they would be around me in an instant.
??- I'll have a chocolate milkshake for me and what would you like?
he asked, looking down at me, he winked.
Hailey- same please.
The lady nodded and walked off and the boy sat in front of me.
??- I'm Nathan, my brother is friends with Lachlan.
Hailey- thankyou.
I mumbled.
Nathan- no problem, you looked pretty upset. What's up?
Hailey- they wouldn't let me in, I got a bit behind and they thought I had already gone in, so when I went up they thought I was a poser.
Nathan- sucks.
I nodded.
Nathan- can't you call them?
I looked over to my phone, on the table, It had been squashed by one of the paparazzi, he looked over.
Nathan- oh, that's no good.
We talked for a couple of hours and then people started coming out of the building the award thing was in.
Nathan- you better go, here's my number, text me.
I smiled and nodded.
Hailey- thanks for the milkshake, and for keeping me company.
Nathan- any time.
I smiled and hugged him, then went out and over to where people were coming out, I saw mum and dad coming down with our family so I waited in the crowd until they got close, then joined in with the group, dad put his arm around me and kissed my head.
Nick- see, it all worked out fine.
I looked down and sighed.
Everyone came to my house for lunch and they all had a good time.
I went up to my room.
There was a knock on my door, then dad came in.
Nick- hey baby, wanna see the photos from the event?
He sat next to me and held the camera up so we could go through them.
When it got to the whole family dad frowned.
Nick- I haven't seen any of you hails.
I looked down.
Nick- hailey, is there something I don't know.
I shrugged.
Hailey- I don't know.
Nick- Hailey Elizabeth Jonas, are you keeping something from me?


Should hailey be in trouble with her dad? Just so you know, In a couple of days we have relitaves coming, so i might start posting at night, which is morning for you. :D
