I liked this piece of music he composed

Cuán pesado...estoy de acuerdo con los otros aquí de que le serviría tomar un tempo que hubiese evocado el sentimiento belicoso de la obra.

Horrible!

Agreed as well. The slow tempo takes away the excitement and uncertainty of the music. I feel that the brass parts should build up more into the vocal entrance at "Tuba Mirum."

Ayer me he despertado escuchando esto... O_o
Alucinante.

SUPERBE!

thank you...I never anticipated the dreaded "thumbs down" barrage (in fact I only saw it now). But I believe what you have stated is well articulated and more in line with my intentions (rather than belittle the piece itself...which is probably how it was taken).

I sort of agree, I much prefer the faster tempo Britten sets on the Decca recording of the piece's premier. This performance's slow tempo is a bit... belabored.

I was in the boys choir when Yale University orchestra and all their singing groups did it a couple of years ago. Absolutely amazing.

Rostropovich should have stuck to the cello. This is a terrible interpretation of this work; sounds horribly diluted next to Britten's own recording. Also, isn't this the Dies Irae? It's labelled Tuba Mirum.

Lamento que no te guste. Lo he titulado Tuba Mirum, porque es el principio del Dies Irae, que está incompleto.
