thank you soo much i am a english ridder yet have a western horse and i always need help.

What is with all the people I see on YouTube telling people to use the rear cinch on western type saddles? I was always taught to A. Take it off if you can or B. just leave it loosely buckled (I mean dangling loose) if it can't be removed. I was taught the horses just don't much care for a rear cinch and if the saddle slides back, you will be doing a face plant when the horse throws you. LOL
