Funny how you're annoyed because I shorten Rihanna's name to Ri, yet you are incapable of spelling basic English words.  I have a lot to say on this subject so I want to use less characters (letters) where it is obvious what im talking about.

She didn't ask for a beating so she could get her bruised face in the world media. Ri was ashamed & embarassed - thats why she was silent for over 6 months. Society is more interested in celebrity & it's hard for them to keep their personal lives out of the media. If your mam was famous then we'd here about it, she's not so we don't. Ri should be treated with the respect that all abused women deserve; to be believed not blamed. If you'd had support then maybe you'd stop victim blaming...?

We can all comment on what we like, I just want you to stop blaming the victim. We don't blame children for being abused so why women? You said your mam went through it, do you blame her for receiving a beating or do you blame the man who raised his hand? I care because I also know what abuse does to a family, and I hope anyone reading this who knows of a woman who is scared of her partner, will care and try to help her in a safe way. We should all care, it can happen to anyone.

The beauty of an open forum is you don't need permission to comment, idiot! With that in mind, you should read more then you may be able to spell basic English words like: DIDN'T, YOU, PURPOSE and REALLY. You may also learn that violence against women is a disgusting abuse of power with long lasting psychological effects on both the victim and her children. There is no excuse for beating & controlling the person you're in love with, that's not love.
