Very cool performance, nice stances and speed but, in jump wasn`t a double kick?

I think that a double kick (or an attempt at a double kick) may be required in some groups, but with JKA at the time of this tournament (things are always changing) it seems that a feint was sufficient. If you check out Kurihara's kankudai, it is the same.

One of the few kata competitors who actually use their hips and thighs the way it should be. For most of the kata people speed and power dominate and compensate the lack of good body mechanics.
