Come on, dude. Don't knock indie and noise rock. It's about the songwriting. And the wall of sound dynamics. It's not like there aren't great musicians in those genres either, so your generalization is unfounded. Sonic Youth are noise rock and they're fantastic at their instruments. So are Helmet and Mudhoney, as are Wilco and Blur for indie. On a FUN level, I can see why New Slang is boring, but the song is great. You know what would be fun on guitar? Dragonforce, arguably the worst band ever.

Good point. But I'm not knocking noise rock in general. I mean I love My Bloody Valentine. It's just that most of The Shins' stuff is too soft for me, but I should mention I'd pick The Shins over Bullet for My Valentine any day. My opinions aside, (OPINIONS, not fact), the drum chart still was very boring.

It's not, but it is a lot of fun, and it speeds up randomly. You have to understand that when I record for these videos, I'm playing with the sound turned down and for the first time, so it's pretty tough. I'm also used to having a yellow cymbal to my left for the hi-hat, which I don't have when recording, since my recording stuff is all downstairs and my xbox is usually upstairs.

i cant beat run to the hills but i can beat things like sleepwalker so would i be able to beat waking the demon?

i am only wondering because my 360 is broken so i cant try it for myself

Steve Shelly and I accept your apology. There's no doubt that's a boring drum chart. Same reason I steer clear of a lot of the Doolittle charts (as much as I love that album) and NEVER play Kool Thing on guitar.
