Speaker: At OTJ Architects, we put flexible space into action in our downtown office. Our first floor atrium constitutes mainly as a meeting space. But understanding the multidimensional uses of an office, OTJ's designs a space with the intention to accommodate up to 200 people with a variety of uses.

For a large charity bank, we opened our glass meeting doors completely moving easily aside our geometric furniture cubes and using the lobby and clerestory windows as amenities to the event. Housing around a hundred guests, our March Madness party utilizes the adaptable furniture to easily accommodate the multiple TVs. The screens usually used in meetings to enable all participants to see, now become tools to gauge all dimensions of the room.

For smaller gatherings, we use our morning coffee bar as the location for our wine and cheese events. Vendors are able to come in to display their materials in a relaxed and personal environment. OTJ's green roof accommodates lunches, breaks and group outdoor meetings. Employees even partake in happy hours that allow for networking and discussions in a relaxed and beautiful community environment. At OTJ, collaboration starts here.
