Nicky Wire used to be such a staple of the UK press - full of brilliant soundbites and ferocious, pitiless intelligence. I wish he'd raise his profile again. I'm so tired of boring celeb "gossip" about who is wearing what, reality stars and glossy, half-naked women in music videos. Bring back Nicky Wire! Stipe comment aside, he was just brilliant. I am the only one who misses him?
