Hi, can you leave the buddy bottle connected when storing the rifle for a while? or is it best to loosen the buddy bottle fire a couple of shots and take the pressure out of the system when not in use, I read a article from Pryamid Air that that leave it pressurised for years.

@Darrenholmes You should be able to leave the gun for some weeks if everything is secure (O rings etc) Like anything else its better if nothing is compressed etc. I fire off the action and leave the bolt in the centre position so nothing is strained. If it does leak air, and it will eventually ther are many forums that explain where to check. (Usually valve orings dried out in my limited experience) Hope this helps.

Hi, is there a running in period when new? I have one of these and it feels great to use, but at the moment my groupings are about 5 inches at 35 yards, will it get better?

@Darrenholmes Seems a bit of a wide spread. Some barrels are what is known as "Pellet Fussy". Try using top quality pellets such as Air Arms, JSB, Accupel. Some pointed / flat / cheap pellets will open up groupings considerably. My .20 and .177 both shoot 20-25mm groups (Rested / supported) when I am zeroing in. The .20 loves HNN FTT and the .177 loves Accupel and JSBs. Hope that helps.

I charge my 400cc bottle to 220 Bar and get about 250 shots from the .20 cal.
