Ok this may sound silly....but I cannot find EITHER SPRINGBOARD, SUMMERBOARD, or WINTERBOARD on both Cydia and Installer, I jailbroke using "Quickpwn v22-1". Is there any specific source which i must add to get it??

when i start up cute ftp that option for the ipod does not come up. it comes up as my desktop and when i try to type in that directory, it gives me an error message...please help

thanks, i was having trouble with the the ssh thing. I did really know there where two different summerboard directorys
private/var/root/library
and
private/var/mobile thanx man, worked for me on a mac using cyberduck!

when i download summerboard it says i need 1.1.3 firmware is there any chance i can do it on 1.1.1?

you need to download the Summerboard (Old) application instead of just Summerboard, because the new summerboard is for more recent firmware versions.

I don't really want the downloaded themes for the moment, but when I select a theme that comes with Summeboard, and then I exit, it doesn't change. I have bosstool and I have BSD Subsystem. DO I need the BSD Subsystem termfix 2.0?

no. i think you have to SSH into your ipod and change the SMB permissions to 755. that should work..
