Cop vs Paramedic While Transporting Woman

Following a dispute between an Oklahoma Highway Trooper and paramedics that was caught on tape, both sides defend their case.

The trooper in question identified in newly-released documents as Daniel Martin is under investigation tonight by his own department.This comes one day after video of him trying to arrest a Creek Nation paramedic in the middle of a transport made headlines nationwide.

Its the video shows a violent confrontation between first responders outside of an ambulance, as a patient inside waits for medical care.

Now Trooper Daniel Martin, who placed his hands around the neck of a paramedic, is now the subject of an internal investigation, although he and his partners remain on duty.

The highway patrol officers, the troopers, are not being placed on any kind of administrative leave, OHP Captain Chris West said. If the investigation shows there were some violations of department policy or procedure, well address those accordingly.

The patient should sue the police for denying her medical aid.

Poliice should have followed ambulance to hospital and dealt with the situation there.

I normally can see why cops initiate a traffic stop or understand why force is escalated but that cop was out of control! WTF!? Really? Pulling over an ambulance? Damn, what an idiot! I hope his Lt chewed him up & put him on leave for that.

cop told him he was getting arrested,he Pushed cop away and tried to get back in ambulance,that is when other cop puts hand around neck and tells him to calm down,.....then takes hand away and puts it on ambulance.....It`s all on video......why he pulled ambo over ? It never had siren or lights on,and did not pull off road right away?......yeah aggressive, but you be the jury. BOTH acted aggressive,and EMT was not driving ,white guy was!
