  • I love that Charlie is a man that can be held up to the Bartlet as an example, and it works. Charlie is an underappreciated character. Thanks for the great clips!

  • Shook Prez Bartlett when Leo mentioned Charlie and Zoey.

Got to shake PRESIDENT OBAMA......Take the White House Staff Off THE LEASH!

  • @meintscl Why? What president from any party or at anytime would not want re-election? You bust your butt for 4 years just start to get the hang of the job, get some traction and get things going and then whatever policies you have are are undone by the next administration. Think about the compromises you have to make in your daily life, how many people are at crummy jobs for years cause they have to take care of family. Sure they would like to say "f-you" to the boss but this is reality.

  • @oarfrost If you're converting to pounds it also means you're thinking a British cost of living which is higher.

  • This is one of the most authentic scenes of West Wing...it warms my heart every time I watch it.

  • @oarfrost Something which cannot be said sadly of Cliff Calley's shiny, vulgar Armani monstrosities when he makes the same move.

You're joking though, right? He spends much of Series 5 being mocked and insulted by Zoe's snobby new French aristocrat boyfriend for being so poor that he has to work for a living and buy his own furniture.

  • @oarfrost He spends about 20 hrs a day at the White House and rarely has a day off. Assuming he does *have* a home to go to (I'm not convinced), I doubt that he spends much on heating, lighting or filling up the fridge.

It should be remembered , by Series 6, when he finally gets himself a proper job working for CJ in the Office of the White House Chief of Staff, there is a rapid and marked improvement in the quality of his suits.
