In addition to more of James Horner's score, this twenty-three track extended playlist features big band music (and even a wedding march) used in the 1985 film. While adding to the overall charm, this makes the sound quality somewhat inconsistent.
@americancitizen76 YES THAT LAZY BITCH JAMES CRAP HORNER STEALS FROM HIMSELF!!! WHAT A LAZY COMPOSER THIS BITCH!!!! IS!!!! THE FAMOUS DANGER THEME!!!!
Hah I knew it! I was saying to myself "Man that is SO from Star Trek 2!". Glad you confirmed me before I thought i was my imagination. Good ears dude.
From 2:04 to 2:26, Horner directly (note for note) rips off his own music from the cue "Genesis Countdown" from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982).
