  • @wendz011 accidentally voted up, sorry. I change my comment, when somebody first starts out stretching, keep them RELAXED. When they're more advanced and can already get into the splits, then flex/point them. It messes up the muscle a bit.

  • Why not flex your toes upward, it is only in dance that it is so important to keep the toes pointed this exercise is really helping me get into the splits. Not that I want to fall out over it xo@ShannonBVBPitts

    Here's one tip, point your toes.

    NEVER flex them up.
