  • MERLE!!!!!! one of the last real country singers.Willie is still kicking to.Great country music is a dying art.

It cuts off at George Strait.

Come to think of it,I officially proclaim George Strait the last true great country singer.can i get a witness?

    ROFL!

NO MATTER, HE IS STILL DE MAN - BLESS YOU MERLE!

  • The greatest voice in country music. Still sounds great!

  • Long live Merle Haggard!

He does such a great job covering this and other Will's tunes.

I even thought I heard Bob Wills' voice in the background.

Bob Wills, Tommy Duncan, Waylon, Willie, Johnny are some of my favorites and always will be.

    Great clip, cheers

  • when and where was this taped?

  • Loved him in the beginning , will love him till the end. For Real...!!!

  • aaah...fiddles!!! As Mr. Wills would say.

  • I saw a youtube clip of hag taking the role of band leader for the texas playboys when they reunited after bob wills' death in nashville. He was pretty good on the fiddle then and it is good to see that he can still saw that fiddle today.
