My video of another one of New Berlin's American Signal T-128's. This one is mounted on a radio tower adjacent to the Rescue Squad building located at the corner of Calhoun Rd and Glendale Dr. in New Berlin, WI. This is one of the more interesting mounting arrangements I've seen for a rotational siren. The platform on the tower used to house one of New Berlin's ACA Allertronic sirens. All have since been replaced with T-128's.

This is a weekly test of alert mode, lasting approximately 2 minutes. This siren has an interesting sound to it when it echoes off the tower supports. Listen to the wind down for the echo effect.

  • This replaced an ACA Alectronic 6000

  • @dinxton2 Yes it did.

  • ASC makes some AWESOME tornado sirens.....

  • Not quite as awesome as they used to make, but these are cool compared to other new sirens. Beats the hell out of anything Federal Signal is producing, that's for sure.

  • T-128s are like hookers - they're better on poles...

  • silent hill. roflmao. x)

  • PYRAMID HEAAAD!!!

  • Whenever my town replaces their sirens (our Model 7s are in great shape) I really hope they get either a directional Whelen or one of these. NOT a 2001 or an ATI.

  • when those things do attack they sound like the cold war era kind of siren

  • sure does have a nice echo

  • Yes, I've heard both of them. With San Francisco, they use a recording of the old Federal Signal STL-10 sirens, believe it or not.

  • @CaptainElevator42189 sfs atis havewind ups and Nashys dont

  • Nah, both San Francisco and Nashville have had problems with their ATI sirens. I've never heard of any problems with T128 sirens.
