I actually was here on that day listening to him. I was at the UN debate all the way from North Carolina which I jumped onto randomly just for random fun and because I used to live in NY and wanted to see it again. When I heard him, he really inspired me and has kept me really thinking about a lot of things. Rest In Peace Mr. McCourt Thank you for the message and views that you shared to me and the new generation that day.

The brother Frank came to my town, Chattanooga, in 2008, to speak at the university. You can see it on youtube. Unfortunately, I was in NYC at the time on business and was unable to attend. I wished i could/would have rescheduled my commitments. I have read all of his books. Very inspirational...all of them. Then I started on the brother Malachy's books. Inspirational as well. I encourage everyone to read everything from a Couple of Blagards. Get them all. Gobble them up.

I was there, and everyone was pretty freaked out about the way he talked to us. Because it was this "tension" in the room, and he just came in joking.
The best 5 days of my life, began with this speech.
