Actually I have a drum from Rob that is 15x8 very similar to what you have there in dimensions. Its a real boomer! A lambeg skin and 12 tuners.

Ohhh, nice playing!! Really nice drum, you make all your drums? If you do, would ever consider selling them, I do really want to get a really good handmade drum right from the hands of a real wood worker! A nice man down the street form my self used to make pens, now I got him into liking to make tippers, now he makes tippers for myself, at a fair price, and a new site for his tippers, I don't remember for my life, so tell me when you'lll start selling!

I do make my own drums and have been selling them since 1996. I also cure and condition my own goat skins. They can be checked out at the Davey Drum web site.

Gosh, thanks.
Your bodhran duet of the Evergreen Band was very well done. That must be quite an audience pleaser.

Love it! I do really need to get one of your currach (is that right?) drums.

Thanks, the drum I am playing is not a Currach Style but is a 16" X 9" deep round drum. It really did develop a nice voice.
I notice you play one of Rob's drums. You sure can't go wrong there.
