@rawsynergytv thank you soo much for replying! Well my family is hispanic and although they sometimes try to make vegan raw meals mostly they still eat prepared food. Its really hard because I always have to eat before they eat alone. But its worth it :D

I'm 17 years old and I still live with my parents. I've been vegan for 7 months although I sometimes eat cooked food because my family eats regular. I was wondering how you stop cravings sence your husband is a regular eater?

@Pretystate09 My husband eats a high raw diet now & the cooked food he does eat is just plain potatoes, or rice or pasta..none of which interest me. It was far more difficult before he changed his diet. The way I solved the issue was to buy prepared food for him at Whole Foods or he had to make his own food. I would also leave the room while he was preparing or eating cooked food. After a while it didn't matter to me but in the beginning I just removed myself from all cooked food situations.

@Pretystate09 Once you get cooked & processed food out of your system & keep it out for a while, you no longer crave it. It's just getting past the first initial phase. The more support you have from your family, the easier it is too. I was very fortunate my husband was supportive of my decision. He knew the suffering I'd been through & how important it was for me to try this. He was willing to make his own food to help me out. :0)

I just received your zapper yesterday and have had it on since last night. I have a questions for you. Is it normal when I eat really sweet fruit like bananas or grapes Im talking like about a pound and a half because Im just starting 80 10 10 today's my second day, but I notice I start to feel a little light headed maybe almost like a sugar rush. Is that because I need to get used to eating so much fruit at once. Thanks

@nscales20 It does take a little time to get used to eating so much fruit. Also, if you switched cold turkey from a Standard American Diet & were eating high fat, you may notice a bit of a sugar rush after eating a lot of fruit until the fat levels in your blood balance out. That shouldn't take long. Just be sure to keep your fat intake at or below 10% and you should be fine. You'll likely notice your energy levels picking up and remaining very balanced within a week or two. :0)

Do you ever crave or just have a nice creamy bowl of hot soup? I live in a colder region and I just could not give up hot food.....maybe. What are some raw comfort foods you like?

@shannon2005100 Not anymore. In the beginning I would crave certain foods but it was usually salty, crunchy things like chips and popcorn or vinegar salad dressings. After a certain period of time of not putting cooked & processed food into your body, you no longer have food cravings. I don't crave anything now, I just really enjoy the fruit I have on hand. :0)
