In order to join yarn to an existing piece of crochet, tie a little half-knot before starting to crochet. Prevent the yarn and tail from slipping out when joining yarn in crochet with help from a crochet instructor in this free video on crocheting.

  • Thanks Jan! I've been looking for an explanation and everyone else has crochet samples that are in progress, not finished pieces. I've found video guides much more understandable than written instructions.
