Palestinians protest as Israeli settlers begin building

Israeli settlers restarted building in the West Bank after a 10 month moratorium on construction ended on Sunday. In Hebron, dozens of Palestinians protested after Israel's Premier Benyamin Netanyahu allowed the settlement freeze to expire despite intense international pressure. His Palestinian counterpart Mahmud Abbas had repeatedly said that he would abandon talks if the freeze was not extended.Duration: 01:34

There’s no history of Palestinians in Judea & Samaria. Palestine is named after the Philistines, who were warlike, sea people whose origins may have been Minoa, an island off Greece, and who lived on the southern coast of Israel, far from Judea and Samaria, during the time of the Bible after their attack on Egypt failed. They were absorbsw by other conquests, & disappeared as a distinct people by the 5th century BCE.

@blackwolfone1 West Bank dates from the establishment of Jordan kingdom on the east bank of Jordan river,1922. It refers to Judea and Samaria by their location on west bank of the Jordan River & is attempt by Arab world to link them to Jordan, although they were originally slated to be part of the state of Israel. Jordan gave up on Judea and Samaria, which it occupied from '49-1967, when they were united with Israel after Jordan attacked the Jewish state in the Six Day War.

Videos like this is the sort of simplified one-sided history that glorifies and justifies anything Israel does, and fuels the Jewish Right and the entire conflict.
