If Americans try to imitate, American prisons will be more like cotton plantation from the old South and prisoners will blame it for "modern slavery" since American prison system is privatized and and it only cares about making money..

@Murrison well it's not like the system works in America...and by the way, French people don't go to jail for cutting people into pieces...maybe there is such a thing as rehab for some people, but you are right, I can see how being raised around American sickness a whole life time could make some people think of good concepts as weird, or even better unpalpable, when sickness is all you know, trust and kindness are hard to grasp.

this is a great idea. we did this in the 1800s and now our prisoners just sit around all day doing nothing. we should use them all for cheap labour.... like several societies before ours have
