lol, thx guys. of course i know i dont have to be jew to go to israel. its just the visa its hard to get since ur guys r pretty strict in the security things. plus....i want a free trip!!! :P

You know,non Jews are living in Israel as well.
From Russia,Ukrain,Belarus and over Eastern European countries that are 100% christian.
Not to mention the Muslim population that is in fact 20% of the intire population of the country.

Not at all. The purpose of Birthright trip is to allow Jewish students to learn about their religion and history, and to reconnect with their heritage. Given the reality of intermarriage among American Jewry today, the trip gives add value to the meaning of our Jewishness.
