New York Yankee Great Joe Pepitone Hanging At The Jersey Shore on his 71st Birthday

October 9th 2011 TOMS RIVER, NJ - New York Yankee Joe Pepitone had the crowd jumping at the monthly Card Show on Garfield Ave! The 1962 World Series Champion, three time Gold Glove Winner & three time All Star signed autographs and posed for pictures with his fans . The fan with the giant Louisville Slugger™ was present as he is every month and was thrilled to meet Joe. Fans of all ages made up the crowd, but what caught our eyes were the faces on some of the older men meeting their childhood hero for the first time and is something to be witnessed as is the young kids being thrilled. But what made the day really special was the fact that before heading out to do some stripper fishing, Joe celebrated his 71st birthday with the fans as they suprised him with a cake.
