The Adrian College Drumline playing "Crazy Army"

we play our street beat called "Crazy Army" written by Scott Kretzer. This cadence is based loosely on the SCV cadence "Electric Wheelchair."

Electric Wheelchair is based off of Steve Gadd's performance in the Buddy Rich memorial concert video.

During that concert, Steve played a variation on the solo "Crazy Army"

Steve Gadd was also the drummer for the original Chuck Mangione version of "Legend of the One-Eyed Sailor". His intro part to that tune was a pattern similar to (but not the same) as "Crazy Army" (The Blue Devils version of "Legend of the One-Eyed Sailor") and was based heavily on the Gadd original.
