  • That is the coolest Idea ! and barrels are cheap .good job! would love to see a video of the plants full of strawberries .

  • @selfreliantboy Hey man :) am going to include it in some of my later clips. Thanks for the feedback :)

  • I have a small commercially made version of this type of container and I find it very hard to water. I've not tried it but I think a perferated pipe down the centre of the compost might solve the problem.

  • @dalecalder2003 Hey that could be quite true. I forget that most people don't have the rain we have. That definitely would help with that. Thanks man :)

  • @AllotmentBen Hey that is a good point you raise, Thanks for making it :)

  • @icansmellthecoffee Hey that sounds like a good plan. I used to grow them in buckets, but inside a polly tunnel. So it would definitely work if you have the weather for them out side. Or maybe you could put the hole thing inside a glasshouse. Hows the weather were you are?

  • @betterworldsolutions Sure I will add them in the description. Thanks for your feedback :)

  • lovely, as all of your ideas.. could you give an idea what herbs would best fit in there, re size?
