Almost 20 years ago and these cars look cooler, and are faster than the monstrosities they call indycars today. It's a bit sad really.

@psuwhammy What's the problem with him? He's not that annoying
-
Back in the day you could tell these cars were bad ass faster than the crapwagon cars.

Michael Andretti should've followed the example of Penske, "Little Al", and "Emmo". Did Penske try to pimp a ride for "Little Al" or Emmo"? NO!!
Penske wheeled & dealed..but when the 6 o'clock gun went off, it all stopped. The Penske Team simply went back to the garage, locked the doors, cut their losses, and took it like the men and champions they are. I applaud them for that. Why? Simple. They respect the sacredness of qualifying at Indy and what it means.
This is INDY. Go FAST...or go HOME.

one thing that has not changed is the drama of bump day. this one though, was the best one.
-
No It started when penskie missed the 1995 race.
-
I hate to break it to them but buddys dad did make the 500 in 1981...
-
@dave41184 they get three official tries on officially entered cars so if they enter 3 cars they get 9 chances to qualify
-
back then the track was packed for qualifications nowadays it is nothing close so sad.

How is it Penske were able to use so many different types of chassis?
Whatever arm you can twist at ESPN to bring back Paul Page, do it. Don't subject me to another season of Marty Reid.
