The family of Adam Trost, and the event organizer,
have asked the Patriot Guard Riders to lead and participate
in a surprise welcome home celebration being held
in Grayslake, IL on Sunday, 12-27-2009.

Adam has served two tours in Iraq, from October of 2006
to January of 2008 and again from December of 2008
to December of 2009. During his first tour, Adam sustained
wounds. When an IED exploded. He later returned to duty.

During his second tour, Adam was rendered unconscious
when a bullet fired at point blank range was stopped by his
body armor. In that situation, however, Adam was responsible
for neutralizing an attacker prior to being hit himself.

Adam has bravely served the United States of America
with honor and distinction, and the Patriot Guard Riders
are proud and honored to be a part of his homecoming.
