  • there is no one who monitors these workers, they figure people will complain if there is a problem. Cant believe what people are getting away with in our communities. I am here to say to everyone you should be very afraid as to what has become of our healthcare system. I would be difficult at times also if i had such a debilitating terminal disease, such as this poor woman. Shame on the people who pride themselves with making her miserable life even more so

  • some Nurses who have worked in our home, show up when they want, if at all. they sleep while on duty, have gossiped about us, told lies, shown up with their kids in tow. We don't tell on them, as we are afraid of the ramifications. so when we don't tolerate the above behaviours , they make us out to be the bad guys with the ccac. I even reported a nurse to an agency supervisor re an incident, the supervisor instead of dealing with it, covered it up. that was the last complaint. very corrupt

  • she is a hero that doesn't deserve being left destitute by her local CCAC

  • @HottNurse1 Wow thankgod I'm not a nurse like you obviously your too absessed with your own self to care about others the name says it all.In Australia everyone is entitled to palliative care no matter how hard the patient to be a palliative care nurse here one of the main qaulities you must possess is understanding that these ppl are dying give them as much to the best of your abilties as you can no matter how hard the patient is and as for your patients maybe its not them.SELFISH NURSE U R.

  • I've heard alot about this case. She was supposedly very abusive with the staff at CCAC, that is why they decided not to go to her home to provide care. Who wants to go to a home to be abused? I would not work for her either. I have worked with a specific disabled person before and it was absolute hell. They often take out their anger, frustration and hate out on the ones that their to help them....Good luck Minna!!!

  • I cannot understand how any human being can allow another human being to suffer in this kind of situation if they have the ability and services which she needs! Is not the Hippocratic oath the same in Canada? Can't someone, somewhere help this woman? If it were an animal, people would be up in arms! If it were a child, the law would be involved, at least here in the USA. I will pray for God to send an angel to help you and that He will touch others to help make the changes that need to be made!

  • Some universal health care eh!

My mother is a senior who needs placement in a Long Term Care facility, yet she has been stuck in limbo for close to two years, in the Sudbury Regional Hospital, (Sudbury, Ontario, Canada) resulting from similar transgressions against her and her advocates, as you describe in your video.

How courageous of you to speak out.

Thank you and may God bless!
