If michigan hadn't scored after a quarter or so, he would Honk the horn to break the ice. Or if they were in a scoring drought. He would honk it to give them luck.

Woolfolk (call me Butch, don't call me harold) was about to be tackled in bounds the play before and did a rugby throw 10 yards to the side lines to stop the clock on the "fumble".

  • think of what ufer's blood pressure must have been lol

  • at the 2004 Minnesota game, this play was shown on the video screens and the sideline angle was played for a longer amount than was featured on the Schembechler Years video.

It's a shame Michigan hasn't officially released more of the stuff from their vast archives, especially in the case of older footage being on a master tape and not on a multiple generation loss vhs.

  • The Linkster was at this game in 1979, when Anthony Carter, a freshman from Riviera Beach Suncoast H.S. in Florida... one of my h.s. rivals, beat Indiana on the final play. Hoosier head coach Lee Corso has never liked Michigan since. His team had just tied the game with a minute to go, 21-21.

  • 0:15 lol look at the ref, hes like "How the....?"

  • gotta love Bo and and Ufer....GO BLUE!!!

  • I remember being in my bedroom when this happened. Bob Ufer was at his best. My parents thought I lost my mind because I was going crazy.

  • I have this video! It was called The Schembechler Years. I looked for this to see if it was available on DVD, but was unable to find it.
