I tried a little experiment with my Sony Cybershot camera in which I wanted to see what it looked like to capture n-scale trains running on the Northeast N-Trak layout at the Railroad Hobby Show, at the Big E, in West Springfield MA. January 27 2008. My Florida East Coast local heads away from the camera first, then an Amtrak train comes into view, followed by a Union Pacific train coming towards the camera.

  • Watching small trains on YouTube is so much easier on the eyes when you use a tripod. Nice job!

  • N scale and HO scale have a similar depth in details. The only real difference is the size. Where as G versus HO has a lot more detail (and obviously is a lot bigger). Its easy to mix the two up.

  • that looks more like HO scale than N-scale

  • niice

  • yeah, and it depends on how powerful your engine is

  • i was there too

  • Very short train, you got to run like 100 cars.
