  • il est magnifique!!!! I love him!!!!!!

  • ...he may defend he set the A=430 (baroque period purists), but the harpischord is definitely tuned at A=440.

Rubenstein was once asked the question: if he would play piano better, if he had not wasted half his time womanising. He replied, seriously, that he spent 90% of his time womanising, but he couldn't play any better even if he had given up on women...

Hope our Corey can grow up alongside his math work... and get a better keyboard player next time he plays Bach...

  • I stumbled upon Corey because he has the violin of Christian Ferras.

He has such a great sound (mamma mia!) and a big heart - hinting repetitively that he may become the next Grumiaux. But the question is: when will he grow up???

At the age of 37 (hope I got my math right), he has yet to commit any of the "major" concertos to record. Sure, Szeryng only did this Bach cycle (with Walcha) above 50, but he didn't play the allegro of the c minor suite (bwv1017) half a tone below score...

  • David Garrett may be all the current rage, but I'd rather have Cerovsek in my ears anyday. I've seen him 4 times in California. Always invigorating.

  • thanks so much! i appreciate it!

  • A bit late of a response, he says that Beethoven's character is a little to heroic for him, but he thinks that it allows you to express feelings you can't really express in real life (a good thing for him)
