"Beautiful, awesome, and disgusting," is how I like to describe the Chinese Giant Salamander--the largest amphibian on the planet, reaching lengths of up to six feet.

SIX FEET!

Join me as I travel to the Los Angeles Zoo to meet a Chinese Giant Salamander, and then watch me perform and song inspired by this unusual creature on some of my favorite unusual instruments--theremin and stylophone.

If you have any questions, leave them in the comments. And subscribe to the channel for new animals and songs every other week. (It's free!)

Host: Michael Hearst
Producer: Joe Beshenkovsky & Michael Hearst
