And Also, when picking a Hayao Miyazaki film...start by watching either Princess Mononoke or Spirited Away. Those two movies hooked me instantly, ever since ill watch anything this director puts out.

@djdylan111 Honestly, if you want to get someone into Anime, DBZ would be at the bottom of the recommendation list. It's practically the same plot done a thousand times. Bad guy shows up, Goku and friends fight him, then lose. Dozens of Filler training episodes, then they fight the bad guy again. If Goku dies, grab the Dragonballs and wish him back, then fight again Same plot for Everybody.

Latest Studio Ghibli movie is SHIT!!! Most people haven't realized, but the latest movie released by studio Ghibli is not Ponyo, it's a movie by Miyazaki's son called Legend of Earthsea. It makes no sense whatsoever unless you read the books (Hayao never based his movies straight from a book, he mostly rewrote old Disney movies), the art's fine, but it overall just sucked.
