Look guys, I'm not saying you should drink or make this stuff but hey, this is the basis. This is what got me through my underage yr's and It was a hell of a lot of fun to make... If you have to get glasses later on, go into a nerdy field like I did?

Yes to the elevation issue also... hopefully when you make moonshine you will know about atmospheric pressure. this is not a big factor just means it will take longer to heat and boil the mash.

Naw, you only need to distill it once through the cycle. Yes we did come up with this in CHEM1001. The tube with glass marbles is a kind of 'reflux condenser' that catches the water when the alcohol evaporates from the container. it is a fail safe for pure alcohol kinda.

Ok guys, This is the Guy at the end of the video That "pukes" while tasting the new batch of I would say it's closest relative is... Gin. While I have tried Juice as a base it is not recommended and taste like shit and can be bad for you. This video was made for a digital video class and we thought we would share our knowledge of making moonshine for those the were curious about the process and wanted to Start or improve upon it. Also, Hot liquor off the still + fresh = not very easily swallowed

for one your supposed to throw away the first little bit to reduce the amount of wood alcohol in it, that is what ruins ur eyes. then re distill it.

Also, you should'nt drink the first 5-6oz produced as it has the methanol thing in it. The next parts you get are 100% drinkable .

i woud like to ask how is that, when both water and alcohol boiling how only alcohol vapor go and the water vapor gets back? do you should make long tube or something? if yes how long it must be ? thank you
