This car was restored about 8-9 years ago. The car has only been driven about 5 times since then. It sits in a climate controlled garage with some other Shelby's. Both quarters were replaced with full quarters, both doors had full outside skins installed as well. The car is 100% all metal with no filler. This car has very nice paint and is rock solid. The entire interior is in very good condition with pretty much the only part showing some age is the chrome on the steering wheel, other than that very nice and complete and in very good condition. All the seat have been completely redone as well as the front and rear panels. All the weatherstripping has been changed as well. All of the gauges work with the exception being the rally pack. It does work but only some times. I think it is a wiring thing. The exterior trim and bumpers are in excellent condition. The car is a factory 4 speed with console and also a factory A code 289 (which is a factory 4 barrel). The engine starts right up and sounds very strong and has no leaks. There is no Buck tag when the car was bought years ago so can't tell if the GT option is from the factory or not. I will tell you that all the factory GT options are true Ford parts and not aftermarket.
The car currently has Power steering (Ford parts), Power front disk brakes (Ford parts), Fog lights (Ford parts), GT Styled steel wheels (Ford parts), Dual exhaust with trumpet tips going thru rear valance (correct for a GT), Factory 4 speed, 1965 engine with correct original intake, Autolite carb (correct style but not numbers correct), Rally Pack (Ford part), Fold down rear seat, center console (Ford part).
This is a very nice example and on top of that Black on Black 4 speed A code GT Fastback at a good price. Thanks, Marty Finlan 570-875-7109
