Kepler Track

The Kepler Track is one of New Zealand's Great Walks. It is a loop track starting at the southern tip of Lake Te Anau; most people walk it in three to four days. The first section leads through forest up to Mount Luxmore Hut above the tree line. On the second day, you walk along an exposed ridge for most of the time before descending to Iris Burn Hut. From there, you follow the track to the shore of Lake Manapouri, where you can either stay at Moturau Hut or walk out.
